“Selling Shoes”, a short film. An Oh Joy Gee Films production. PLEASE COMMENT!!! Original screenplay written by Olga Grishko (I remembered to credit myself at the end for directing it, but forgot to mention that I wrote it and edited the film too ). Created at the Summer 2009 AFI Moviemaking Workshop. Shot at Montgomery College, Takoma Park campus. Inspired by a summer of learning to sell shoes, endlessly long training manuals, and learning to never assume anything. For the record, all shoes and bags on display are mine, except for the black shoes the customer purchases. Stuffing a size 11 actor’s feet into pink 8.5 high heels would have been my preference, but that’s impossible, even in the world of movies…
